i have a 4ft x 2ft x 2.5ft tank and the other day i got home from workand found the middle support beam and the lids in the tank.
somehow it came unstuck and then fell in.
it was a hot day and the day before i did a 50% water change
the frnt glass was slightly bowing outwoods so i drained the tank
any ideas as to what caused this?
thanks

You can buy replacement top sections and replace it, any other sort of repair could mean a wet floor :) or you could use 1x2 inch lumber, build a frame around the entire outside of the tank, with a new 1X2 brace in a couple of places across the top front to back.

http://www.glasscages.com/?sAction=ViewCat&lCatID=43 this is one place that sells replacement frames
